Strange, every one I've seen has 4 on the underside of the centre cubby.
Might be better to get one from a later one if yours doesn't have it.

Struggling to find a chap local scrapper, was thinking of clear indicators but all on line sellers want a lot for them often more than they cost new?
Just need random odds and ends Brake light trim and some plastic clips for seat shrouds

The 4 cup holders on the underside of the cubby lid were made standard in 2000 as were cup holders in the rear arm rest ;)

There are a few online breakers that might be able to help.
Otherwise there's lids on fleabay for around 20 quid

Just looked on Ebay arm rest in back is grey cheapest is £60! its the sort of thing that's £10 in local scrappy!

Funny you should ask the question, the day my mate (who is a confirmed old car nut esp. LR's) first got in to my Classic his first words were not 'nice condition mate' or anything else complimentary about the car, but 'what no cup holders?'
Philistine

Think the real message the car is saying here is, no cup holders dont drink and drive less chance of spilling it on to central switch pack and having windows go wonky :)
It's actually illegal to drink anything whilst driving. The cup holders in the centre cubby are a PITA, there is little enough storage space on a P38 without wasting it.
