2002 'Royal edition' - new to me?

Don't look too special and chrome strips :rolleyes:

Must have been the jap for Voque maybe?

I have the chrome strips on mine, and some still have the protective plastic (cling film ) on them:eek:
Am sure Henry has chrome on his too.
Funny it says side steps. I don’t see any:oops:

A lot of people have chrome striping. It would have put me off my vehicle.

If I wanted chrome, spinny wheels and maxpower glittery wingmirrors with racing stripes I'd get an L322 :D

I have more shiny bits on the P38 than the L322

The Royal edition was the JDM special edition it was based on the HSE and most had all the available options fitted.. :D

Chrome stripping was an optional extra for the Vogues and special editions..

Mine has them but TBH they look rather tarnished. ;):D need replacement :D

The fancy for this one is unreal!!

Something so apprealing about a "base" i'm willing to guess like the RRC Diesels they will rise rapidly once numbers drop off..

Lovely colour ;) :D

Not sure. @Saint.V8 has the build models, I think but those wheels look like they're off a classic. Some of the early ones had 7J wheels as an option but not seen those wheels. Also, that wood trim on the doors, wasn't that the DSEs? And the trim around the wheel arches, not a sign of that on mine.

That said, drop an HP24 box in it and probably years of relatively low maintenance motoring.

Those are 16" base model "classic" wheels ;)

Not all Models had wood on the doors, so no for DT i would think

Side arches were Part of the country pack IIRC ;) usually accompanied by side steps, maybe they're an add on.

No wood trim on the doors on my DHSE.

It’s good money as low mileage ‘original’, but there are a few non DT elements to it. I’d want to see the build sheet as proof for that money. Doubt it would add up

The wood is stuck on "fake" stuff as is the wood on the upper portion of the dash facia..

Easy to peel off though ;)
