Cheers, did you use normal contact adhesive? Might give this a try :)
yes regular contact from the diy.spread it on with a paint scraper both sides leave until just touch dry then push it down the centre and outwards,if you get an air bubble in dont pull it off the card just stick a pin in it.make sure you have enough to do the job .i used 3 small cans ,better to have some over than run out halfway through.good luck.
 
Ok, seen 5L of high temp stuff on the bay. Will be next on the list after the bumper fix & alloy wheels refurb. :)
 
Got my roof lining to do anorl but been putting it off cos I cannot be bothered been to busy trying to fix the bloody thing cos it keeps braking ha ha bought urban camo material so the oily handprints do show up as much

Can you get headlining with stilleto heel marks in so I don't get into trouble if there are new one's.:eek::D chance would be a fine thing.:rolleyes:
 
You can get fabric with sheep trotter prints - which might be a help to you! :p:D

Thanks to all who gave advice I will look into a retrim, there is a VW customiser has offered to the job, he is near Ystrad Mynach I may go to him, I've seen his work at a classic car show.
