Well, did mine today. Lovely day, a pleasant easy job and a satisfying result. On the one hand I wish I'd done it ages ago but on the flip side I think it was easy because the lining had pretty much removed itself already so I just had to lift it off and chuck it in the bin. The bits of foam left behind rubbed off easily with the hoover.
 
Looks good, I will have to get round to mine soon its starting to sag round the sun visors now:(.

Perfect time to do it. It really is a slow comfortable day's work and that kit from Martrim has everything at a decent price.
 
An ancient thread but still very relevant. I did my Jag last year but chickened out of doing the gluing. I removed the 'Biscuit' as it's called and gave it and the Martrim kit to an upholsterer to do the sticky business.
P38 has needed doing for about 5 years and a DIY job is planned for Spring.
