Does anyone know where I can get the sagging headlining in my P38 repaired?
I have tried spray adhesive, it works for a couple of weeks then sags again!
cheers Marshall.

Its the foam under the fabric that crumbles away, so its very hard to spray glue the fabric back. There's an article in the tech advice section by Dopey which is good if you fancy having a go yourself. Otherwise its yer nearest retrimmers.
Mine needs doing; but I've found the dog guard clamped behind the back seat is holding it up nicely at the moment:rolleyes:!

Order a kit from martrim a couple of hours work job done

Oddly enough, I just ordered a kit from them before logging on here! Hoping it might be here for the weekend as the front has now also dropped and is rubbing what is left of my hair away.

I'm thinking of doing the same. Mine is starting to sag where the roof angles upwards over the rear passenger quarter. Was worried vinyl may be too heavy though? With 2 Springers in the back a wipe clean roof lining would be a bonus!

Yes its a bit harder to do in vinyl, spray is not strong enough.I did mine with contact its a bit tricky around the grab handles and sun visors.I did half at a time from the rear of the sunroof forward then the other half after.its better with two people, one to hold it up away from the card while the other feeds it down the centre and out, just take your time and its ok.

Cheers, did you use normal contact adhesive? Might give this a try :)

Remember to use high temp glue. The roof gets pretty hot (when the sun does shine!). You'll be high as a kite with your head covered in roof lining if you use normal contact o_O:)
