right had the auto spark out for 2 hrs he wen thru all the wiring and it seems to be the becm that is faulty how do i test that this is the case or is there a way of resting the becm

Are you getting an "engine disabled" message on the message centre? Because the only way I can see that the BECM can affect the engine ECU is via the enable/disable handshake. If the engine is disabled then you would have no glowplugs methinks and also no fuel at the injectors.

Maybe you just need to re-synch the key fob.

Others with more knowledge will no doubt say if I'm right or wrong.
 
engine does not crank has engine disabled on info read out the problem is the becm is not reading the key in the door i e door opening unlock and lock
 
Door micro switches, common fault lots of threads on that. Gav is the king of the door lock mechanisms.
 
You're not going to change all that are you?

For what you paid for that lot i could of sorted your becm out.

The mileage would of been reset as i the guy who sold it to you contacted me regarding some old becms.
