Might not be whole engine just the head. Plenty of room in there wherever suits you. Could always stick a few in the ashtray hidden undercover
Thanks for the description DubbleRR.
Iveco's fitted with the 2.8 engine sometimes have an engine fan that's activated with an electric clutch. That's a very interesting solution; The power of an engine driven fan, with some control over what it does.
Mark Piercy hi, I have a nanocom, I built this plate to support it yesterday, its not painted yet, going to finish it today.
Can I ask how you have your nanocom set to come on please, you have it wired to the key?
Was thinking about adding a switch to the 12V+ line of the obd port, below

Can you remember when the oil filter housing went plastic? '97?
I fitted an electric fan that operates from a switch like the one above. The fans that Revotec fit the the P38 are 10 amp, 15.2 inch Comex fans, I bought the 20 amp version and fitted that. It has a taller motor.
This is the 10 amp version that Revotec sell

Comex F30P12L8205HT08S
It has a few mm clearance from the crankshaft pulley, should be fine

@Grrrrrr good point regarding nanocom , be an expensive mistake.
@marjon - lol. So it can happn... It probably will.
I'll need to relocate the fan again, c'est la vie.
@D2206 the plastic oil filter cap is a nightmare for breaking.

Will have it mounted tomorrow.. unless work gets a hold of me first.
Is the aluminium oil filter housing a straight swap?
Its its not too difficult, I might just do that.
Not sure but 97 sounds right. Generally plastic manifold has plastic housing not seen one mixed before that wasn’t a bitsa, but ^^^ engine seems foreign as opposed to swapped head, id take a guess it’s an Omega one or somethingCan you remember when the oil filter housing went plastic? '97?
My 1997my is aluminium inlet manifold and the oil filter top is plastic, has not been played with. You may need to change the whole housing as they take different filters not sure it’s just the top. Side by side comparison maybe

They are fine as long as they are not over tightened,25 nm.springs to mind.Sound. Will look into one of those so, cant be dealing with that stupid plastic cap.
