Could be or early aluminium inlet manifold engine, I take it was done to fit the plastic manifold.
Good point, it's interesting to think that these cars have been around so far for at least 20yr. God knows what has gone on with some of them. :D or in them....... o_O

You can tell it's another boring bank holiday:rolleyes: :D
So far, I've been making a barn door for the barn at the end of the building and now I'm chatting with fellow landy bods. I might go and pull the door card off the bus as it's locking and then not locking with the remote.

Well I've taken down my 10x8 shed because a tree next to it has to come down as the trunk is half rotted through at the base. Would be the one that's leaning towards the nearest house. Bugger of a job on your own,:D Think I'll go and pour myself a Guinness.:D

I fitted an electric fan that operates from a switch like the one above. The fans that Revotec fit the the P38 are 10 amp, 15.2 inch Comex fans, I bought the 20 amp version and fitted that. It has a taller motor.

This is the 10 amp version that Revotec sell

Comex F30P12L8205HT08S

It has a few mm clearance from the crankshaft pulley, should be fine

There is a mod from Datatek that uses the aircon fans as well as the fan you've fitted. It cools the rad down in no time at all.
