Hi everybody, sorry if I seem late to join this thread. I am running on EAS at the moment and my air springs are due for replacement. I am thinking carefully about coils. One aspect is worrying me. The headlight leveling function is provided by the self leveling suspension. When coils are fitted how do you fit levellers to the headlights? Is this going to be a problem with the new MOT regime?

Not required unless you are running HIDs

But don't coil it....

Self leveling may not be the problem, but coils as they were never homologated on the P38 might constitute a fail if the new EU rules for the MOT are fully implemented.
In any case the EAS is much better than coils.

eas gives a better more comfortable ride height function makes life so much easier with previous 4x4s my mother and my wife both with disabilities have struggled to get in with the eas it simple just drop it to access and they can get in with minimum of hassle and it sticks to the road like glue unlike other motors with coils on that's just my two-penneth worth
