Good day to all you fine fellows I have a problem bought a set of blend motors some 3years ago just got round to fitting them as has started blowing cold air into the right hand foot well as well as the left hand one
Have stripped the dashboard down as far as I feel I need ,got the left hand one that is over the top of the right hand blend motor can someone help me with how to get the blessed screws out of the blend motor, I have read on the internet that you drill a hole but how on earth do you get a drill into such a small space it’s really bugging me I am beginning to wish I had not started the job ! Then I think of the cold weather that is round the corner
If someone can help this poor old man I would be very grateful

Cutting the plastic duct to give access is the way I use, cut in the right place and the upper section can be removed. The cut can be joined with duct tape.

did u calibrate the blend motors after fitting?
I thought every few turns of the ignition brought on a calibration cycle for the heater components. Mine will do it every now and again. I usually pause to let it do it's flappy flipping thing...

Guessing you didn't move anything and fit new one in same position. Not seen one in a while but do I remember an arrow or mark somewhere?
Exactly one off one on. Don't remember any arrows, think there is a thread somewhere where arrows are to do with the other motor/flaps for direction, windscreen ,feet etc or is it maybe if you take the motor apart

Yeah every 500 cycles. Blend motors can be set with Nanocom after new installation. Just fitting a new one does not set the positions. If the motor is stripped down the drive must be set with the flat along the top of the motor and the arrow on the large gear MUST be indexed to the arrow on the pot gear.
