I bought a bigger chissel, got some washers, took the brake disc on etc, tightend it fully down to the hub and smacked it from behind.
I can't say it did anything, i just have a tiny gap somewhere between the hub and the swivel joint, but it does not seem to grow any..
Also purchased a better penetration fluid, supposed to be quite good stuff. (GT7 By Tec7)

i did however fix some other MOT issues anyhow..

Now im letting it sit with the "better" penetration fluid for the day. Hopefully, its off tomorrow by either the chissel or brake disc method. If not, i will do the puller on friday. I suppose i must have the wheel on, and on ground for removing the drive nut? Otherwise it will be harder to figth i suppose.

------------
Think there's a pic of what I used in my rebuild thread? Crowbar between the wheel studs and braced against the floor. 3/4" drive socket, breaker bar and a short scaffold tube.

Thanks Keith, and a thanks from the Boss I've locked the suspension in motorway mode, makes it so much easier for her to get in and out since I removed the side steps and she's vertically challenged.;):D
My wife is on the short side too, so appreciates the lower access

Sorry Alan, the GEMS RAD I have has no oil cooler built in. It's quite old removed from an auto. That's not to say a brand new one would not have the oil cooler, all diesel RAD's now come the the cooler for the manual needed or not.

Its coming slowly, estimated time 1.2 years

about that doing it parallel so it wont jam itself, my answer to that is Yes.

I will focus on the lower part now, and it should unbugger itself  Just haven't really gotten anyting to bite at the lower part, maybe i should've grinded a small wedge at the bottom aswell to ease it.

I like the hard way

It's for sure coming out tomorow or at saturday.
Not enough energy hammering away after work monday-friday

Could always take the diff panel off look what’s going on inside. Could be stuck could be welded? No spot welds around the hub?

@Mark Piercy Remember that xmas years ago my pump exploded took out my rad? Fitted an BP issue cheapy then - still in there now like new not had to touch anything
