Final Chapter in my Disco 300 Tdi ... 
Got rid of the old Disco today ... The original axles are on my 90, exchanged for the 90's nackered axles to let it roll, no engine, that's now powering the 90, no steering, steering box and part of the column replaced the bits on the 90, no brakes, parts used on the 90, no gearboxes, which might also soon be on the 90 ...
Lots of other small bits re-used on the 90, sold or given away ... and still got £100 for it as scrap .. result!!!!
Just a shame I couldn't keep the chassis as it was in right good fettle, I wanted to build a racer/trialler etc but reality/money won't let me!
Juliet's happy to get the garden back .. but that needs a bit of work now as well ...

After all the recovery work she felt like an old pal
I remembered this thread when you first took the swim and it made me wary of water ever since, had to come back and find it to see how the story ended.
Sad to see it died such a grim death but at least much of it lives on in your Defender.
