if you put the magic goo in a pair of jars with lids on the rest should last for ages

I hope you are gonna send me my stuff after you stop fookin about with this red monstrosity

you can fit my top hoop for me too if my arms not better by then- Im welding it in though

tonight...

took sump off to repair tomorrow..

engine was really clean and defo rebuilt..cam even looks good..

other stuff done..

tubos turned up...might be too small..though maybe not...

no wear that can be felt..ie no lips.

but anyway..holes welded up..then new skin underside and rotten side welded over..took fecking hours!!then fett super goo applied over all welds..primed..

painted and on tomorrow...if it leaks you will all hear the screams...

yes thanks...it arrived!

boss playing silly bugger..was gone put engine in today and tomorrow..now cant..nor next weekend as he wants it out...soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fecked off..was all ready to go..baby sitter arranged for weekend..blah blah blah...

quite down and depressed ...and its bloody snowing!

if only..today went out and about..300 miles and £50 (fuel)later have...big grin on face cos canned her..(with bonnet on roof too..lol)

pair of 2 door foot tread plates....£20
excellent vented!!by LR!!lovered on sides bonnet..99pence!
gmc 6.2 modded radiator..
pair of headlight rings..(bits that hold headlight in place and allow adjustment..Mine just rust)
fecking cold walk on bexhill on sea beach...jealous mrs (and me) of worshop with real log fire in deepest cambs..

yesterday...seat bases beefed up somewhat!!
drain pipes for sunroof inatalled
various non descript time consuming bits done..

waiting on seal for rear caliper to be able to bleed brakes.....

just got in..seal is here!!thanks

this evening..did drivers seat base..

did other stuff,mainly in relation to it being outside from thursday,so seals etc..

rad i picked up appears to be recored..many rows!!

thanks..on da watch list..

now this eve...decided to ignore the body,ie seals etc and do engine stuff...

so exhaust flanges turned up...with the help of a vice 1 1/2 inch pipe fitts nice!so turbo manifolds here i come..

sump back on and turbo oil return welded in..
spigot bearing in as is clutch (again)
adapter back on geabox (again) along with modded chevy clutch fork and lr thrust bearing..

now if things go to plan..tomorrow in with engine!fingers crossed..lol

once that in and mounts made on to (panic) door seal,etc fitting so can go outside while workshop in use...

Been watching this since the start and thinking 'one week?' - that's my kind of optimism/under estimation Great job anyway and incredible progress - would have taken me 3 years to get half of that done...
