As I am now in the Land of Far Far Away it's going to be mid-May before me and the summer tyres meet up again.

I had hoped to change them over at the Easter weekend before I set off but the snow was still there when I left Bonnie Scotland.

I needed the winters in Austria on the way down here - but doubt they'll be needed on the way home.

Great trip so far - I did just over 800miles in nine and a half hours, last Monday.

3000rpm - switched on the cruise-control (Mrs S calls it the auto-pilot ;)) and just watched France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany go by.

Stopped in Austria for a mountain pass or two.

Over the 2530 miles we managed an average of 36.5mpg fully loaded with the roof box too.

Took the CAMACS off mine three weeks ago
Then drove into the field behind the house to collect some cut logs
GOT STUCK!!! well not so much stuck more spinning all four wheels and sliding down the bank.
