Possibly the cross member would be in the way but no need to remove the whole engine.

Crossmember has to come off..

The Bolts are usually a Ball ache though :D

What is the difference between a 10p engine and a 15p engine

On the bottom? Nothing. Differences are in the head. Fuel return from above the alternator back behind the air intake. Timing chain tensioner. Green injectors on late engine. Cam part number - not sure exactly what the differences are between them though. Valve cover gasket.

Doing full rebuild so timing chain and head removed.
Was checking oil pump condition last week and and in doing so removed whole oil pump/stiffener plate assembly...along with pump sprocket and chain.
Manual said to make pen mark on inner rotor against outer rotor prior to removing inner rotor so to be able to replace after inspection the same way.
If i forgot to do the pen mark...is that a problem?
Dont understand the need for the mark as the rotors rotate separately anyway (as in the lobes of the inner cogs change which section of the outer rotor they mesh with every rotation.....?)
Thanks in advance
