hi all my 90 s oil light as come on when ticking over but when i drive it gos out what could this be cheers

low oil pressure!

low oil?
old oil?
oil wrong viscosity?
oil pump wearing out?

Try a new Oil Pressure switch.
Thats what I had when mine did that, mate said they alway go. Put a new one in problem went away.
Before i did that went to a 4x4 place they said it was the camshaft end bush and the engine would need to come out!!

Remove the oil pressure switch, fit a pressure test gauge, run engine up to temp and test it....

Then repair as required.....:doh:
