Ha ha already studied yours drew , and yes a great idea but now I'm looking at the plate there's quite a bit of space either end so I might see if I can hack saw it shorter then it should fit where I want it to go, that's if that's the way to cut perpex who knows:) just fitted the isolation switch inside , will change the bumper over tomorrow then see if we can work out the best route for the wires ...some of your pearls of wisdom wouldn't go amiss here Drew please:):)
I could send you a 10mm thick no plate back plate like I have ?

+1 for the vent flap. Mine is there, has been for 2 years.

PS. You can get a smaller plate from ebay that fits inside the dimensions of the vent flap, save you cutting. John and Debbie had one on the torbay trip.

Also we need piccies of the winch and bumper, its the rules you know.

swit swoo mrs, looking good :D

stick it too the vent, go on you know it makes sense. :)

Couldn't really stick it on the vent cos our near side vent is already at a wonky angle -needs sorting but without drilling out the hinges it's not going to happen , got the sump guard back on but that needed a little modifying with the angle grinder  but all good now , plate on the grille for the mo and I'm back in the kitchen making lemon dribble and Lancashire hotspot ....ahhhhhhh:D

any views on this idea ??

Yep it's a good idea Drew , only .....and feel free to mock :D I don't want to make Betsy too off roady looking , if that makes sense , the stuff I've got (except the CB) are mainly vehicle protection items guards/snorkel/sliders etc . I would have no use for a light bar (other than to stick the number plate up there ) the other bits are just protecting her , so at least if I decide to part with her , she hopefully won't be all smashed about and I could just return her to her au natural look :)

I fixed mine to the front of my winch bumper on the nearside. Just drilled 2 holes through the bumper and bolted it on, took about 2 mins.
