Ok after parking my 90 into a tree I decided to drag the series 3 out of the back of the shed, (parked up in 2006 and not touched scince).
I drained the fuel tank, fuel filter, fuel pump, tipped in 3 gallons of fuel, and primed the whole system including injectors with the lift pump, after three attempts she fired up and sat there ticking over a treat,(turbo deisel). Great I thought, jump in and go for a taz, this is where it all went wrong.
The clutch pedal was solid(Id'e checked it in the summer and it was fine), ok I thought, put it in low box first, drag it with the tractor and jump on the brake and clutch, no joy.
next plan, chain from rsj gatepost to towbar with 10ft of slack, first low, start in gear (with string on the fuel pump solenid as the pull to stop wont work) started engine, NO movement, I dont ****in beleive it, checked levers but no the clutch is definatley dissengaged but the pedal is solid.
Run out of time so checking master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch arm tommorow.
