well did you not think of changing from low to high to see what would happen.
i tryed it in low this morning on the way to work revs seemed to double and it dident feel right so i put it back into high as i say when in fourth on a site incline foot down does nothing been reading could it be a turbo hose possibly holed or split

or if you go out and open your bonnet i will go on google earth and see if i can diagnose your problems from there:cool:

Is there any smoke from the exhaust? If so what colour? When was it last serviced?

brianbrianyi, yes the engine lacks in just about most ways that we are used to driving, the gap between 3rd n 4th is immense, going up a hill in 4th is not going to work unless you're in a 20mph speed limit area, drop to third and live with it mate, the engine is somewhat something you will get used too.

Motorway you're looking at 50-65 max without screaming the arse off it.

By all means give the engine a check over, no harm in it, but from what you're saying, it's normal behavior for a 2.5TD engine.

hi i think i may or may not have found the problem the pipe that goes from the air filter across the top of the engine down to intercooler it has another pipe atached to it it has broken off what is the peice it goes to please
