Hi folks,
I have just been reading some posts on LPG but non are exactly the same as mine.
It starts fine on petrol and hit the throttle it goes to gas ok, but when hot it does not like to idle but only sometimes.
Also when gunning it up on gas it sometimes holds back then it will throw you back in the seat, but again this is only sometimes. One of the hardest faults when it does not happen all the time.

Any thoughts would be great.

What system do you have ? Single point, multi point. Do you have software for the system ?

A guess would be gas pressure / vaporiser diaphram, but really need more info on the system

had the same problem on the multi point system on my 4.0 se,took to my local guy who said the injectors were gummed up he cleaned them up and hey presto engine ran fine!

Had a similar problem and replaced the pressure sensor on the gas system - all working now!

Cheers guys,
I will have a look under the bonnet tomorrow and see what the set up is, to be honest I have not looked under the bonnet much since buying it a couple months ago, I have just been takingthe pleasure in the drive and power of the 4.6
