Has anyone tried putting nitrous oxide on there V8 and what is the optimal shot you should go for before it puts a leg out of bed of bend a valve? Was thinking about fitting it to my defender but want to know if anyone has done it and could share there experience

You may laugh but I sold my sports bike to buy a landy and have put a v8 in it as the 19J didn't quite cut it for me. I have put the axel off a disc on the rear so now have disc brakes all round and going to get grooved discs and EBC pads. But I am deadly serious about fitting nos

wouldnt bother myself more hassel and you havent got a sports car.

I'd spend the money on rebuilding a new decent rover engine lump with a real torquey cam decent SU's and correct jets (lots of rolling road sessions) . Or run a modified ecu.

if you ever think of running lpg forget a v8 and buy a diesel. Never seen a decent LPG setup EVER! Cheap nore xpensive!

It's a 3.9 v8 efi so don't have carbs or jets. It goes like stink but want it incase of emergency. More for ****s and giggles really. My engine has only done 80k so don't really need rebuilding yet and if I pop it, it will be a gud excuse to put 4.6 in her

It is our third vehicle so don't rely on it at all it my project and toy so ain't too fused about keeping it constantly on the road

be very wary there so many self procaimed "experts" out there saying everything is possible until you actually see things for yourself or the abortions some people call conversons/upgrades that are just plainly amateurish attempts at getting a better vehicle
