You will be fine campin
Cattle float with a large syntetic tarp over, carpet on the floor, and an air mattress is pretty nice for a few nights! Imagine the horsebox is similar.Possibly
just found a couple of places that hire nice touring caravans. My sort of camping
Plan B is bring the big horse trailer and turn it into a bedroom (done it before at big shows)
Plan C - Back of 90 (involves DIY and design work - Could be an interesting challenge though

The tarp is really good, stops the wind and rain through the gaps and much warmer is like a double skin. They are available in different sizes and have eyelets at the edge, loads of thin rope to tie it down. Not too dear either!
Caravan is more comfortable, have hired them at shows too! They are horrible to tow compared to your own rig which I know you have well set up and safe.

I would go for plan B
Really impressed if yer trailer is watertight in driving rain, I sure wish the cattle boxes were Wouldnt worry too much about the campsite unless its very posh, they want your money! Thanks, dont think my 510 needs the tarp, all the vents can be sealed and the top doors over the ramps are pretty air and water tight. Might get some funny looks on a proper campsite though, quite normal on a showground
I have towed caravans before, bit of a pain but I thought I could hire one in Derbyshire, save having to drag it all the way.
Not totally given up the 90 idea, even if I dont bother this time, it would be usefull to be able to sleep in there if necessary

Towed caravans and seen em spread all over the A30 with the cops picking up little pieces
Used to sleep in my 109, was lovely, my 90 has a solid bulkhead behind front seats with a spare wheel bolted on it, must be about three foot aft of that

I'm out I reckon can't;
a) afford it in fuel in either beast ATM
And
b) both landrovers are incapacitated and I CBA fixing the good one as the new part is £180
So you've busted Shorty's now have you?
Yep its watertight. I slept in it at the CHAPS championships one year where the place got flooded out. Tents washed down the field and some of the temporary stables were under a foot of water (not ours luckily )
Good year that, we won one of the championships
My 2nd spare is on the floor, I think you have to put a bed in higher up, over the bulkhead
If it's a 90. and the back door has the old pull handle mounted across the bottom of the window.
I had a bed that sat on the handle and the bulkhead. with a hinged section that folded out into cab area and had a pr of legs that dropped down onto the edge of the seatbox. feet fit thru the gap between the seats.
Come on down!!!
