Cheers Neil the pan was ****ing oil lol could see light threw it , its now welded up and ive got a 10 spline diff and half shafts in for now , so shes up and running for now , will sort a 24 spline diff out when i get back , :) hopefully everything holds

Well ive now got a sticky throttle cable it jams wide open if i out my foot to the floor , no supprise looking at all the mud round the throttle body fingers cross some wd40 will fix that lol ...... Anyone wanna really well maintained and mechanicaly sound disco? Other than me lol

I had this problem in me 110. Turned out the adjustment bolt on the pedal was catching on the carpet. :eek:

I have a 24spline diff out of my 300tdi disco.

lol that's quite impossible , no carpets in the disco :) the pedal moves it flops about on the spring but the throttle was wide open , blasted some 3in1 oil down the cable and around the housing and it seems to have sorted it ...... For now

taking bets on the next thing to give up the ghost lol
 
Trying to decide whether to have a run down to the Peaks tomorrow, would be a nice run out and I have nothing better to do.

i did mine friday...now im trying to find out why fenders over heating,so far new rad.new thermastat new coolent 8lt.pumps good ,going to do paper test on fan to day after a good run did it yesterday dount think it wos quite up to temp. not HG that wos done last year (no mayo) ho the joys of having a landy lol
 
Had a change of plan :D

Decided to test my towing straps and stuff. Instead of cutting my hedge down and digging the roots out, we let the Landy do the job.

Then I got told I need a permit to go to the tip in future, only cars allowed without one :eek::eek: Who's daft idea is that

Mine turned out to be the water pump. Was ok until it got to a hill or full throttle for more than 15 seconds.

It's fine now until I have 2 tone on the back but I'm prity sure that's due to my winch blocking my rad.
