Well things just not going way.04 td4.changed rocker gasket.new washers and o rings on injectors now it won't fire up.tried a good few times I can hear the pump and it's just not starting.battery has been disconnected but it has plenty of life.
Just cant get my head round it.
Any advice .

First off, make sure you've connected everything up, including the cam sensor.

Once you've confirmed all sensors are connected, then you might need to "crack" the injector pipes at the injectors, so there is fuel delivery right to the injector top.

If you have another car, you could try jump starting it from that with its engine running - there'll be more volts and the starter will spin quicker to give it more chance of firing.

If it starts that will rule out various bits and might even clear a problem with fuel supply.

Jump starting can cause problems on modern vehicles' electrics. I put up a thread about this recently and the advice was 1) connect up jump leads 2) start working vehicle 3) start vehicle needing help 4) turn off working vehicle 5) disconnect jump leads. It appears steps 4 and 5 need to be in that order to make it safer.

Sounds like you might need to check the live data.
Particularly the fuel rail pressures.

It runs.thank god..
Starts with a bit of cranking changed an dodgy looking injector an hey presto.
Takes a bit of cranking to start but I think theres a small bit of diesel leaking where the rail joins the injectors as very slightly damp.but still it runs.....
Now I can start looking at the fun parts
