Hi All went to drive home from work last night and the stereo wouldnt work it all lit up but none of the inputs would make any sound thought I must have shorted it internally and fitted a new one same problem then fitted the original same problem. Now aside from re-routing all the speaker cables does anyone have any idea wtf is wrong ?

Either there's an amp that's died, but I thought you'd be able to tell if there's an amp from the connections on the back of the head unit.
OR
Is it possible that there's an old mobile phone fitting still connected that's muting the stereo output?
no phone connector at all
