My rear window wash hasn’t worked since I bought my latest td5 a few weeks ago.Today I got a replacement pump and tested it (fine)
The front works, the front plug will operate the rear pump so the pump is ok it seems.Switch operates the rear wiper fine too.Is there a relay for the rear wash/wipe anywhere? Is it a known fail? The wiring that I can see looks to be ok,I don’t have a spare switch to rule out unfortunately and the car I removed the pump from today had it’s dash removed.
Any help or advice is always appreciated

From what I can see of the wiring diagram, there's only the switch, a fuse and an earth connection in the circuit. The only relay in the system operates the wiper motor.

Thanks for that,it’s proving a tricky one this.I could do with a test light really aswell as a spare known good switch
Iv had to call it a day as that wind is just ice cold now and lost all feeling in my hands!!

Anyone ever had experience of this happening to theirs? Any common area where a wire could get nicked or chafed?

Not sure if this is your problem, but I've read that there can be a wiring fault in the loom between the body and the door.

First of all did you measure if you get feed in the switch's plug on the green/light green wire? i hope at least you ruled out the fuse(F30)
