Hello to you! I purchased the discovery td5 new back in 1999.Two years ago I replaced the ace system with anti roll bars! I also replaced the air suspension with springs.Since over two years I have had battery problems.Going flat after just a few days.Recently I think I've discovered the culprit! There has been a regular chunk sort of noise coming from the Wabco air compressor unit which is placed under the drivers side (LHD) I picked up a tip from a forum explaing that I should start the car and immediately switch it off again. That stopped the noise and since then, the battery has been behaving it'self! My question; I would like to disconnect the air compressor unit but am afraid that might also affect the ABS.The ABS, I believe also has a connection to the box containing the air compressor? Am I right in assuming this? Any help, greatly appreciated!
