The flasher unit buzzes like crazy and when I activate the indicators. I replaced it with a good one and it still does the same thing. Has anybody had this fault?
 
Thanks. Any suggestions on how to test for that? Perhaps there is a pin on the flasher or the indicator switch that I can ground.
 
if its a 3 pin electronic unit (available from any accessory shop). The pins should be numbered '49', '49A' & '31'.


connect the live from the indicator switch to '49A',
connect the live to indicators to '49',
connect the earth lead from a suitable point to '31'.

or (more likely) could be a bad earth on any of the actual indicator units.
 
take the bulbs out one at a time and check the the holder for green fur.. out of intrest all the earth fault I've i usually find whee they earth to the body.. check that they're all clean
 
Thanks guys, your help much apprciated. The flasher is a 4 pin unit, any ideas on which pin should be eathed.
