Just had a quick read...i'm not sure mine will have had a dim-dip relay fitted as its a 1984 90 and the legislation came in in 1987....that may also be why i couldn't see one when i looked behind the clocks...

Have bypassed the small switch...sidelights, main beam one..no change...
