Nope...i've removed the stalk on the steering column and bypassed that to see if it was the stalk (wasn't)..and the wireing from that goes straight thru bulkhead and down the wing to headlight...the high beam works on 'flash' from the indicator stalk though, so bulbs ok...i was confused yesterday, but had some ideas to try, today i've hit a brick wall!


HI storm; see you making some progress. Read back through everthing, by chance is the low beam on the headlite burned out? I'm taking the head lite has high and low beam in one unit!
 
Ah John...you are partially correct...the left hand light is a sealed unit..the right one isn't..lol..but both have one bulb that has both high and low beam.

Can you take the bulb out and put jumpers off the battery to see which side is working hi or low
 
To see if the wire is bad to the lites or the buld. like jumping the switch in the steering column yesterday


Will give it a quick go in the morning...i've booked 2 hours at an auto electrician...i admit defeat and await my pie and chips.
