It's only just Monday here give him a chance to get out of bed. May have had a late night. :):D:D
Only Monday! What's wrong with working on the weekend!
Yeh......I used to be a terribly impatient boss in the old days.

I'm thinking you may mean 7 deg C, just maybe, I know Global Warming is possibly having an effect, or have you got a really good heater?
But what has temperature got to do with getting stuff done? In 1998 I was working in mid European winter in a Bavarian hydraulics manufacturers heated workshop, got so warm in the afternoons we had to have a long neck bottle of the local brew from the vending machine that sat next to the cold water fountain.
We carried on manufacturing, measuring, assembling, regardless of the snow outside, certainly made it hard to get to the Bierhaus for lunch.

Perfect working temperature!
By George, a bit warm for this time of year where you are, nearly tropical.
Got my truck on the hoist at our Men's Shed today for a service, it's about 35 deg C and 90% humidity so could be sweaty by the time the job is done.

Update on the no traction. The problem was the clutch, as I say I bought the car just over 3 months ago, the seller told me he works as a fitter semi skilled, and he had a new clutch put in by his colleges , ok fair enough, but what he didn’t say was, they did not have a clue how to fit a clutch, they cut a hole in the bottom of the gearbox to allow access to the clutch, they ground down a bolt inside so they could fit the release arm, other nuts were ground down, result clutch not fitted correctly and totally misaligned , running off centre, centre of friction plate ripped out friction plate had also been slipping and had various cracks in it, the back plate with thrust bearing torn from seating, the whole clutch destroyed. Hand brake oil from gearbox seal, so whole thing off tomorrow, clean out, new brake shoes, cables.

Christ I wouldn't want any work done by them, its not hard to get the box out they probable took more time trying to bodge it,
A true case of if you don't know how to don't do it.
Sounds like your on top of it now, we were right about the centre plate, one would never for see that bodge.

bunch of scroats! surely you would be asking for some sort of refund or partial at least....

Wow, and to think I considered a lad at work chippy for rotating the steering wheel rather than just sorting out the tracking. That is a whole new level of chippy bastard.

I've never heard anything like it. What a bunch of butchers. No wonder everyone was scratching their heads; you cannot imagine anyone f@cking up that badly.
