I just fitted a set ofhe standard Autobiography wheels with tyres to the P38 and they seem to be contacting the arch in access mode with a bit of lock. They are the 18 rather than the 16's I had before.

Any help gratefully received!

What size tyres are on the wheels??

-Wills :)

They are standard Pirelli Scorpions. I think I may have found the problem. The mudflap has lost a fixing due to corrosion and is a bit loose.

thatll be it
ive got 18" with scorpais on and they are fine

ive also got 2 sets of autoboigraphy alloys - thinking of using a set myself cos i like them

It's amazing what a difference they've made to the look of the RR. I will post some pics shortly. The car seems to ride a bit differently. It seems to be a bit lumpier over the bumps.

I agree they look better on 18's but I'll stick to my 255/65/16's thank you very much - the same rolling circumference as 255/55/18's but not as harsh and choppy a ride - if you think they are bad try going to 20" or above - have your bloody teeth out !
Far bigger/cheaper range of 16" tyres too

i think 18's are the best compromise between looks and comfort

my mate got 22's on his p38 and it drives like a crap shopping trolley

I have just bought a set of 19" wheels from a 2006 Range Rover sport, as soon as the wheelnuts etc that I have ordered arrive, I'll get them fitted and let you know how they handle! They have got 255/50/19 tyres.

boydonegood has 22" on his P38!!

i have 18" prosport with pirelli scorpions and 30mm spacers, they rub on mudflaps slightly when in access mode on half lock but as i dont drive it like that its not a prob
