Ok chaps and chapesses,

Just fitted a replacement rear crossmember and all is well in the world of Henry.

What the bejesus are all the holes for. The tow plate I can compute. The big un to the right with the notch in, no idea. The nuts welded along the bottom, nope. Lots of others, clueless.

I'm thinking cup hooks for enamell dinnerware. Or maybe wooden pegs to hang and pre age your wax cotton.

the big big hole is for a PTO shaft, the ones at the side of for steps or handles.

i think the nuts are either for a tow plate strengthener or maybe for PTO accessories

the rest are for whatever you want.
the flaky holes are just rust

Yea, I get the big one. It's for a propeller to push you over the 40mph mark.

The one on the other side of the tow plate is about 2 inch with a notch cut out at the top. I was thinking either tow electrics or exhaust.

I'd better get missen some grommets. :nopics:

One to the right is likely tow electrics - my military 110 has a hole there that a cannon plug came out of for same. I will make an adapter plate for a 7-wire socket to fit mine.

The welded nuts along the bottom are for a tow plate - they get used often for things like a brace for a Dixon-Bate hitch or the like.

Bottom welded nuts are also used for a rear step. The teo holes that line up with the interior of the main chassis rails are great for waxoiling, the one with the notch can be used for tow electrics, I've not seen any other use for it.

I was looking at nailing the socket over it but it just looks too far away from the plate.

Not sure its going to give me the horn if you know what I mean. The Feng Shewery is all wrong.

Any road up Ill cover it somehow. Please dont suggest checkerplate or Ill visit you in the night........... :D
