Afternoon all,
My first post on here after recently buying a 2001 Defender 90 back in December.
I noticed this news article on the net this morning and wondered what people's thoughts are on it.
"The draft MoT inspection manual for May’s changes explains that if the “exhaust on a vehicle fitted with a diesel particulate filter emits visible smoke of any colour” the car should be marked as having a Major defect, and fail its test".
http://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/...AAv6pPR?li=AAmiR2Z&MSCC=1516877282&ocid=ientp
Is this the death knell for all Landy's fitted with a Particulate Filter that smoke a bit, or is there a magic cure so that no trace of smoke will come out. I think for mine that only happens when its turned off !!
