freelander comes into its own in the wet.
The only bad thing about the freelander is its clearance.
of which the honda has the best in class........

Having had both a Freelander and an X-Trail, I would not touch another freelander if you paid me.

Jap cars have the benefit of selectable 2/4wd and can be repaired by a competant mechanic at home.

get a discovery or defender if ya going to have a landroveer mate or buy a slitty wagon.

you wont be sorry with a discovery either there bloody good.

Good for you, we don't always buy the car that is best but the one we want. I've got a 2.2 diesel Honda, which is truly excellent at its job but its just so bloody boring. Get your Freelander if you want one but just don't spend all of you 6k on it.

Though I better add that the Slitty is company leased.................. I'd never buy one meself.
