They are the real deal...

garage didn't like it last week when i went in with a puncture and he had to unbolt numerous bolts to fix the inner tube...

and thanks.

I have considered foam backed vinyl covering for mine in the future, but actually the lattice looks pretty good. Maybe a darker thread would make it more subtle.

It's different and I just wanted something a little more modern. Thanks

Not seen these new covers before ..! Will have a look, suppose it's how they got that will determine the end finish product. Need to be right fitting.

half the fun is making em unique..... yours certainly stands out a bit but lookin good... personally I prefer a more subdued look... lol

What about something like this: WHITE STITCH FITS LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 110 83-06 TOP DASH DASHBOARD COVER | eBay
they have trim for the lower dash aswel as other parts.
Quite tempted, but would much rather see one fitted first before I do mine.

looks nice but that one piece cost more than 5 metres of leatherette vinyl which also can be stretched n glued... which could also be stiched in any colour to suit..... ive done my dash (complete), door cards, soft top roof panels above the doors, interior b n c pillars ets and still got a load left for £25 plus cost of glue... evostick spray is great...

cheers steve

Are those seats out of the odeon

lol nope standard landrover seats :) just from a different vehicle and comfy as hell lol...... however you do get a good view of the appradio screen so will stick a film on n get some popcorn n see how good they are :)

cheers steve

bucket seats n harnesses were great as a teen but im now at that age where im not quite ready for a flat cap, driving gloves and lace up leather steering wheel cover... however comfy range rover seats are appealing lol :)

Anything that covers bare metal or hard plastic will help with NVH, and cost of vinyl and glue is compelling as we spend a lot of time in the cab.

I do like the multi gauges amongst the yellow though.

Great discussion!

So Eventually i get my bits back from the Trimmers....

He has done an amazing job for the price paid, the centre console is covered in real leather as it was more workable than the quilted vinyl. So i cracked on with putting it all back together and nearly there...

Let me know what you think....

also it might be coming up for sale.... boo

errrrrr Seats look great........ Honestly don't like the dash but that's just my opinion.. hang on put a hair dryer and pair of scissors on the left and I'll take another look ;)

Ha!

I was watching this funky landy on eBay, and although I would have loved to buy it, I couldn't (already got three and the missus wouldn't be best pleased if I would get another one). Also, even though I think it went for less than it's worth IMHO, the price was a bit steep for me at the moment. I did like what the vendor did with the dash, so I started googling for 'land rover defender stitched dashboard lining' and ended up here. At page three (or so) I realised that the one I was watching on eBay is yours, L2PB :)

Anyway, thanks for giving me some great ideas to spend those dark winter days!
