ZR seats are great but but too tight for me, if I was a girl on a dating site they would describe me as "bubbley" which we all know is man code for a bit fat. Lol.
Drivers seat is on now and all functions work as they should.
Best addition I've ever made to the car, super comfortable.
Great job, got be thinking now.......wondering if this possible with the facelift seats.

Making most of this good weather and night shift for ebay bargains......
Yep, that's a v6 bumper fitted. Few changes needed, but ideal for my future winch build. Shoe polish dye changing it from grey to black, few more costs and be perfect.
Will take care of the green part at later date, at glance looks black anyways.

More messing about today.
First up, replaced my swimming pool lid with a reinforced commercial one, but when I was at it stripped it, and did both sides with the insulation and then taped it up also, might help a little.
So that's good, next up I had really wanted to bed liner the rear panels but for all I use them it will be fine, so I reached for a tin of hammerite satin black and started rolling it on. Pics are taken over 3 coats and I'm happy with even result, it seems a bit more glossy than satin overall but see when fitted in van I'm sure be dark enough!
Better than that god awful oem colour in the rear, and I'm too tight to buy some later panels in black.

And obviously under the mat everything's sound deadened and hidden. Almost nothing shows from install which was good.
Does it make a difference, yes, hell yes, would I spend extra on dynamat in future, yes, because if this cheap stuff is so good I'd imagine dynamat is far better. But funds are tight and now it's convenient.
And gave her first wash in 18 months. Off to get hand brakes sorted and then vcu installed and mot. Can't see what they would fail her on. Everything is bloody new on it!

Well finally got round to doing my rear window today. Not a fan of tints but wanted something to cover out back window in the Freelander van.
So I opted for a roll of contravision from ebay, its like the flyeye mesh tint they use on cars, and same stuff used on buses / taxis printed with graphics over acting as a one way tint essentially when fitted to exterior of a vehicle or window.
I just wanted it plain so satin black ordered and fitted, taxing care with the awkward Freelander lifting rear window when fitting.
Looks great and finished rear of van off nice. Had a little extra so did the rear lights with it also which makes them look much nicer against the black bumper.

Today's little mod. I've always wanted one of the "safari" light switches with plans for light bars and winch in immediate future.
Whilst the blank plate is cheap, the switches are a clean rip off as per most oem parts.
So hitting up ebay, I bought these square edged rocker switches than when active light up green just like the oem Freelander lights.
I like subtle mods, and almost factory looking upgrades so the end result pleased me greatly.
Now to buy the lights and winch to wire up and use them!

Thanks folks appreciate the comments.
Plans are some subtle light upgrades, a winch and potentially a mini compressor for tyre pressures off road over a cog lighter powered one.
