OK, here we go.
I bought a new set of rear linings for my 2005 Td4, but they don't look remotely like my old ones.
Have they re-engineered them, or have they sold me the wrong ones? I don't want to remove wheels and drums and have to put them back so as to get back to my supplier.
Andy.

Bit odd, this - how do you know they don't look like your old ones? Agree with JM - part no.s would help.

Anyway, it doesn't take 5 minutes to jack up, support and pull a wheel and drum. Then you can compare and be sure!

To answer your question, Island4x4 list brake shoes as fitting 00-06 models, so no, I don't think they were altered much during this production run.

OK so just done a search on the part no they gave me, (ADJ134104), seems to be for older petrol models, which is odd being as when I ordered them they took my reg No, so should have come up as TD4, as I told them. Looks like I have to re order the right ones. Grrrr!

Ah, that makes a bit more sense - the pre-00 brakes WERE different. Looks like an eejit at your parts shop has given you these.
