Obviously this aint the cheapest yu can get a battery, and your purchase for £45 is a good one, but none of these are £108 that you stated earlier.

Yu must have a weird place up there, then. Coz even that (£13 for fitting), aint right - shud be £4.99 and, believe me - if yu every have to do an Audi A4 or a Nissan Cabstar, thats bloody good value - the Audis take 2 of us a good 20-30mins.
But thats where Halfrauds win - coz they do a fixed price fit, so it dont matter if it takes 2 mins or 2 hours.
Well i don't know, the difference in the price you quoted and the price that was quoted to Stuart is £13.00, so i can only assume that was the fitting charge. I personally think Halfrauds should have stuck with pushbikes. A 55 amp battery at £95.00 should be gold plated, encrusted with diamonds and have a Rolex label on it.

I believe a fair comparison is either the 3yr 360CCA (we dont deal in Ah any more, as CCA is more important) @ £64.99, which is £43 less or £38 less if you include fitting or the 4yr 440CCA @ £74.99 which is £33 less than you say was quoted.
I accept that the price you paid (if the CCA is comparable) is better, but a £11 premium (54 to 65) to be able to get it on Sunday afternoon is not bad.
I am not saying the Halfrauds is good - far from it - but it is not as bad as you seem to be making out - especially for the general public and particularly those that dont know one end of a spanner from the other.
(If yu have a trade card then it is substantially better)

No i said that last time i bought a battery from Halfrauds it had a two year warranty. I said i did not know which warranty period applied to the battery Stuart was quoted for, BUT i assumed it was 5 years because of the price. To be honest i don't give a **** about how much Halfrauds charge because i don't buy from them. Unless one of the kids gets a puncture in his pushbike on Sunday afternoon i would not go near the place. If your happy with the general public being ripped off by these robbers that is fine, personally i find it disgusting.

That is blatently untrue as lots of the trade use them, in the same way that the trade also use PC-World for similar reasons.

I have a p38, get the gearbox fault message to, had it checked, nothing wrong, so how do I get rid of the message. Also if I put fuse in for heated seats, it disarms entire car. engine runs but won't move when I put it in gear, so cold bum all winter. New batt from ats fitted cost £135. any cleaver clogs out their, would be most grateful please for advice

To be honest i am not bothered what you think of Halfrauds, if you want to be ripped off feel free. But please don't keep trying to defend the indefensible. £50.00 for convenience is a little more than i would pay my friend. I would wait for the factors to open on Monday. You would have to be totally stupid to use Halfrauds for everyday trade buying or PC World for that matter. Their prices are at least 50% higher than trade outlets for a start and on some small service items hundreds of percent higher. Even with a trade discount card you are maybe paying twice the price you would pay at a factors. You are now starting to talk silly defending these robbers. If i run out of milk on Sunday maybe i would go to the local convenience store and pay 10p more, better than using fuel going all the way to Asda who charge 10p less. But i would not expect it to be twice the price.
