Has anyone used these people:-
RANGE ROVER P38 1994-2001 AIR CON RADIATOR/CONDENSER NEW - 2 YEAR WARRANTY | eBay
for aircon condensers?

The price is a lot lower than most of the others and they have 99.9% pos feedback on nearly 38000 sales.

Just had mine re-gassed, passed the vacuum and pressure tests and was blowing nice and cold, but by the time I'd driven the 2 miles home and got out, I could hear hissing and sure enough, the top corner drivers side of the condeneser was expelling pressure and oil . . .

I bought one from them for my L322 albeit a little more expensive than that, great service and been fitted over 8 months no issues whatsoever.
Do it!

Yep bought mine of him as well, most helpful, cost me more money but as mine had been holed for so long he told me to buy a new drier(as the old one would be full of water/moisture) and a new thermostatic valve as these stick after having water in them for so long. Great service, great delivery, cant fault it.
PS love my aircon in this heat, sod the extra 10 percent it is supposed to use,as they say L'oreal, cos Im worth it.lol

as far as i know they fit all petrol & diesel but the very late models that had a smaller one no longer avalible

Just found a leak on mine, so ordered that same Condenser.

Should I replace the dryer as well ? It looks quite rust on outside, but cannot find any leaks around it.

yes. if you open the system up to ambient air (and moisture) you are 'supposed' to change the dryer. If you're replacing the condensor might as well change the dryer too rather than find out *after* having the system filled.

Square one for me . . 4.6 V8. Ordered yesterday at 3pm. £54 plus £6 express delivery. . . .. and it arrived today at 3pm :)

Now just waiting on Dryer.

Finally got round to fitting mine, and as others have said, it's a fabulous service - 2 year guarantee, £60 all in, delivered next day. 99.9% feed back on 38000 + feedback.

The only problem I had was the holes for the carrier frame for 2 elec fans didn't line up, there was a discrepancy of about 12mm top to bottom,. I solved it by punching out all 4 of the brass inserts in the plastic frame which gave enough play for the bolts to fit. Otherwise very easy.

Just got to get it gassed again.
