Iv been looking around for a new engine and found this 4.5L V8 Duramax turbo-diesel that will be out soon looks like it would be a good choice for defender

so even after market prop like this Drivetrain | LRS Offroad wont be enough (tad expensive at that)

right lets start adding this up

£1500 for that engine ?
£1200 for a set of those props

got your eyes on some fancy drives shafts ?

remembering that a factory fresh 200 will provide 111bhp @ 4000 rpm - 195 lb ft @ 1800 rpm

i was thinking of just improving my td5 but then i got to thinking.... dangerous and expensive tho its only when the td5 dies that i want to change... should be ages yet

Dont like the idea of the oil filter smack bang in line with the big feckin rock you never saw.

It's just asking to be Tw@ed!!
