Ref xenons I think it’s needs self levelling and headlight washers

might be wrong though, lol

Parking in a field with the headlights on full and sitting on the bonnet with a shotgun isn't really off roading is it? :D
Bin there.
Except they don't sit parked! They drive around off road in hunt for said bunnies!:D:D:D
I suggest that there is a marked difference in the methods used on flat lands as opposed to the hill country. Welsh bunnies are quite smart!!:D

Are many people off roading at night? I get that farmers and many off roading as part of their profession will need to do so; but are many people off roading recreationally at night? The number of light bars and huge spotlights on people's vehicles suggests that they are. Genuine question where and why?
Some people do, I would have a go if I got the chance but it's not top of my list. ;)

@Carter4365
Have you asked yer insurance if they're happy to cover the lift mod?

Is the vehicle under any form of warranty? If so then the warranty and any claim for repair under warranty may be refused.

I find the talk of an evoque not being a propper range rover quite amusing. Many rr clastic owners still wont consider a p38 or later rr a propper rr.

Its strange how you lot try to hang onto the theory the rr is the best, in order to ter boost yer self esteem. As if there should be some form of recognition in life that you've made it to the leisured class now that yer own a rr. I can only aspire to belong to such an esteemed club of owners. Praps one day I will have the opertunity to make it in life and join. The chance of it is reduced by not being a footballer, footballers wife, a drug dealer or general criminal type (includes minor celebs).

All of the different rr models built today follow the same principles, just like the original rr made by Rover. They're designed to be the best in their class. That includes the luxury feel of the interior, the ride and ability, and the materials used.

The root of the issue is the range rover marque. Is it a land rover range rover Evoque? Or is it a range rover Evoque?
In the same way as if ford brought out a sierra, started off with a car, then brought out a Sierra estate, Sierra sport, Sierra suv, Sierra pickup etc but non of them share anything with the base car different running gear, different dash, different everything, but it's still a Sierra

I don't think I would be driving a 20yr old RR if I was in any of the above silly ass!! :p
What the fink is self esteem when it's out?

LR moved to having two defined brands to help improve their image and make them more recognisable world wide. LR and RR. The evoque is part of the RR brand of vehicles.

Exactly this:)

But there is no name for 'range rover' is the latest iteration the L405?
To use my previous analogy, you don't go to the dealership and say you'd like to by a ford

If yer looking to buy a rr they have defined names for them. rr evoque. rr velar. rr sport. rr (full fat to you lot).

They seem to have abandoned LR

They have abandoned the concept of cheap, adaptable utility vehicles, but they still want the brand identity that heritage confers on their plush SUVs.
So they have made sure that there is only a single, identifiable logo. Other than the green oval the brand identification for Range Rover, Discovery and Defender is just the words in a common font. As JLR has been bought and sold repeatedly, they will want to make sure that no one can cherry pick the brand and just buy the profitable lines. What they don't want to do is what Citroen has done in splitting the DS vehicles off as a separate brand, because if they did that with Range Rover it is quite possible that LR would be torn apart by the corporate sharks.

The starting price for the new RR is £79,995.

A new Evoque is not the luxury you presume. It’s a hippo with a pricey badge.

Yer but no but price is what they can sell it for. What peeps will pay. Is it the true value of what it's worth? £80k for a car...

The D3/D4 lot are fond of pointing out their vehicle is the same underneath the body, when comparing to the old RRS. LR put a different jelly mold on top of it and charge £15k more if they call it a RRS. That's some eggspensive jelly.

They int so keen ter point out the D4 has a FL2 steering wheel. Tis not right ter take the p*ss and mention this. Like bringing up the subject of snapping cranks.
