Lockset code different from EKA?

Word of warning btw, I called up for the eka code for this land rover a while ago. Somewhere near Glasgow... Just gave me it over the phone there and then with reg only. V5 wasn't even in my name yet at this point.
Lockset code different from EKA? yes completely different.

Nice one thanks for the info.... Bit of an update... Car still not driving... Will get to central locking soon..

Notice one of the wires going into bell housing opposite starter motor is frayed away. Hanging by a thread... Believe this is crank sensor? This wouldn't affect drive would it?

sorry just spotted this as have been otherwise engaged for a while and hiding from the huge list of jobs I need to do on my car, but I have a nanocom and I’m in Glasgow.
It’s set up for Gems but it might be able to help with your key issues if you still have them

Hi guys.. got the P38 dropped off at the house... Still getting gearbox fault, no drive but reverse all ok
That and the "repaired" key seems more like a replacement to me so need that programmed in.

Wondering if anyone near the Cumbernauld area has nanocom or similar which could handle this?
I will cross your palm with silver and should u need diagnostic for anything else please get in touch as I have loads of kit...just not much cop for a P38!

To be clear that's a key program and auto gearbox diagnostic on a P38 4.6 Thor HSE 1999
Hi mate I live in Denny got a Hawkeye for p38

Rf receiver is plugged in both old and 2nd hand unit tested.. no luck... Sync procedure on this model is just to unlock with ignition on.. it's a Thor model. Unlock not being picked up...

I am aware that swapping a key fob guts will no longer work with becm. I did not personally refurb the key

Coil may not be picking it up. Has RF receiver been unplugged? If so, put fob up to rear quarterlight where fob aerial is and press unlock button. Put key in lock and unlock. Hold fob up to rear quarterlight and press lock. Put key in lock and turn to lock. Repeat the procedure a few times. The microswitches in the door need to be fully working though.

The THOR can lose sync between the engine ECU and BECM and then you need to copy the code from the EMS to the BECM.

Doesn't the decode of the XYZ switch by the BeCM enable the BeCM to light the correct light?
Have you tried cycling the gearbox from Hi-to-Lo and back a few times?
