I have no idea of exactly how old you are Datatek, but with age comes great wisdom and you certainly have a lot of that ;)

Your wisdom should certainly be well honed enough to tell you that young or old, everyone should live each and every day as though it is their last and fully enjoy it ;)

And the greatest achievement anyone could possibly have is in spending time and effort to help others, be that canine or Human.

A very Happy 2014 to you and looking forward to wishing you the same in 2015.

Thank you for your kind words Colin, not sure about the wisdom bit though:)
Old age has it's limitations, but so far it is one of the best parts of my life having met and married a good woman in my 60's.

So you are certainly wize enough even at 60 to recognize a good woman when you find one and not let her slip through your hands.

I am guessing that she probably did not marry you for your Boyish good looks

They say that behind every great man is an even greater woman.
That is certainly true in my case ;)

Not for my money either LOL.:) I'm lucky most people seem to put my age at 10 years less than it is:D:D

Behind every great man is a woman holding her head in her hands and rolling her eyes...

As this is most likely the last post i will make on this forum for some time.

I would simply say that i believe one cannot judge themselves.

In your case, i think everone including myself and your wife beleive you to be someone we all judge positively and would all aspire to be in some way.

May life in 2014 be as kind to you as you truly deserve

ATB

Colin

That looks like a good do Colin.:D
Hmm, I have to admit that mt prescence on LZ is primarily selfish, initially to investigate the P38 and now to keep the little grey cells active and provide amusement.
Anyhow thank you again for your kind words and all the best to you all for 2014.

It was actually a really brilliant and very memorable do Datatek

Although you cant see some of their faces, to introduce the BBS team starting from front left to rear left
David, newest member and filling the new role of product tester
Alexander, Software developer, mainly on the MSV-2
Kathrine, Admin assistant Angel, replacing Hayley earlier this year
Victoria, Senior Admin Angel of many years.
Terry, close friend of 20 Years +, General IT infrastructure management.
Scott, Software developer extroidinaire.
Grant, has worked in the production Dept for many years

At the opposite end of the Table is Ronnie, the support and sales guy of many more years than we can count.

Front right to rear right.

Paula, The BBS Admin Manager.
Christian, My number one general manager.
Jason, runs the Ebay shop and does all other PR including youtube Videos.
Manthos, Nanocom software developer
Alex, Senior software developer
Lambros, web master
Roger, Java specialist and mainly the Genesis chap
Jeremy, The Production Manager and winner of the best Joke award.

We closed everything down just before Mid day on Dec 20th and all piled into one of four vehicles comprising a P38, L322 Range Rover, Discovery 3 and a 2010 Range Rover Sport, to drive across town in convoy to a restuarant that had an all you can eat buffet. Several hours later after everyone was stuffed etc, we all returned back to BBS HQ to continue the party.

First order was my making a speech and asking everyone to raise a glass of toast to those other members of staff that could not attend.

Which is when this photo was taken.

Thereafter things generally got pretty fun and very wild, with many games, fun presents and huge amounts of Alcohol.

What happens at BBS, stays at BBS, but if you can imagine it within the realms of decency and true friendship, I promise it happened

It took 4 guys over 5 hours to clean up the mess we made.

We all have our reasons Datatek, your reason is no different than most everyone elses, mine are often imagined and portrayed as being for some personal and selfish gain.

But as you see, I have quite a lot of folks in the BBS family that totally depend upon me to provide them with the income they need and depend upon every month to keep a roof over their heads and put food on the table for themselves and their families.

I can only apologize to those who believe that I may well sometimes step over the line.

As a really very final word here, might i thank all who have invested their very hard earned money with us. I am pretty sure that no one will ever regret doing so and we here at BBS will absolutely continue to perfect and evolve things on a continual basis.

ATB to all and a Happy new 2014

The picture brought back happy memories of my staff do's, long time ago now.:D:D:D

Guys and Gals
Despite some believing otherwize, as most have gathered in this thread i care far more about our four legged friends than myself BBS or otherwise and right now i need as much help as i can get and am certainly not ashamed to return here temporarily despite my declaring otherwize under the circumstances i am about to reveal and ask for any help i can get. no matter what.

As i believe i have explained, Here in Cyprus Dogs really do not have it easy at all.

While Poppie was lucky enough to have been rescued and so enjoy Christmas Day and for Her a Land Rover gets her all excited and looking forward to a Car Journey

Unfortunately another dog was not so fortunate

Yes, quite sadly i have to explain that on Christmas day, some merciless 64 year old attached this dog to the rear bumper of his Land Rover Defender and drove it around Limassol until well after the Dog could not keep up and was then dragged until it had died, only stopping after the Police finally made him, when this picture was taken

as well as this one

Given the absolute and utter horror of this most latest case of animal abuse and cruelty in Cyprus, there is now a growing demand for animal rights and a petition to the Cyprus Prime minister that i would beg everyone here to sign.

Many Thanks

Colin and Poppie
