We thought she had a tummy bug or something, stomach ache, headache, head and ears felt hot, very sleepy non of the obvious covid symptoms but she went downhill quite quickly so I rang the 'no symptoms of covid but want a test' local helpline and they booked her in within the hour.
It's only a 10min walk but she was too weak so drove her down.
Results came through on her phone 30mins later.
This happened yesterday afternoon and she has slept almost non stop since. Bit perkier now so I'm just cooking her some dinner.
10 days isolation for all of us.
Got me worried for a bit and I don't know how to work the washing machine either.

Fingers crossed for a full & speedy recovery.

Hope she feels better soon.

You will receive a text message and it will ask you what symptons you had, amongst these strangely will be listed , bad guts , headache, muscle aches amongst others.

Seems the sympton list is a lot longer than the big 3 they publish. Which does make me wonder how many folks wander around saying they do not have Covid when they actually do?

I had pounding headache , muscle aches , kidneys hurt, shivering and feeling really cold. No temp / loss of smell or taste or a cough.

I lied and said I had a cough to get the test. Came back positive the next day.

Cheers

Best wishes, this whole thing is a real challenge. No worry about the laundry, people with covid loose their sense of smell.;)
What you are experiencing is everyone's worst nightmare; get through the best part of 6 months of lockdown and just when the end is in sight catch it.

So sorry, for both of you. do hope she gets over it safely and that you manage to stay safe too.
Re the washing machine, if you can't find the manual at home, look online they are usually free, and then ensure you read the care labels on each garment!;)
You can find anything on tinternet.

Sorry to hear this. I hope your good lady recovers pronto and with no lasting effects.
One of my son's has had the virus race through his whole family and they have had an extended isolation period but are all well again (a benefit of being young I think).
Best wishes for a speedy recover.

Sorry to hear that Flossie, I had all those symptoms in early March. After sleeping for a couple of days I was loads better. Hope she is feeling OK and the rest of the family dodge it. My eldest son had it before me (after his classmates) but other son never had any symptoms.

Just been through the same, none of the listed symptoms but a hell of a headache, no appetite and spent most of time sleeping.
Thankfully loads better now but still locked in for a few days.
I would never had gone for the test but someone suggested put down a cough, which hadnt started then, so we did and got the result within 24hr.
