So here is my second land rover discovery. It's a 200tdi rust bucket so i have started modifying it ;) i put my old 5 inch lift on it and all the other bits and bobs but found ALOT of rust :( so started chopping and got carried away.

I will post the pics of the rust soon.

This is the rust before i cut anything, the whole driver side sill is rotten through and the seat belt mount isn't attached to anything

That's one way to get rid of the rust :D

I don't suppose those leafs in the background are 1ton jobbies are they?

So i started cutting out the rust but decided to stop until i fit the new sill.

I can stand up in the gap while the door is shut

I decided to change my dislocation cones as i lost one when my spring fell off while green laneing. Iv'e decided to attach my home made cones to the axle, but havn't tested them yet.

Started the rear of the tray back now :) just need to decide a hight to have the tray, im going to take the spring out and lift the wheel as high as it will go so i can build the tray just abit above that hight.

I added a little to the hight in which the wheel would lift into the arch incase i ever wanted to put bigger wheels on. :D

i started the roll cage last night. you can see it coming through the body. its a bit wonky tho, so need to play with it tonight. But for a first roll cage for someone with 0 experience its OK.
