hi my range rover has been running 100% with no signs of running problems.
i was driving my range rover all day with no signs of any issues then as i approached ainley top bypass quite a steep hill it stalled when i turned the car over it started idled as soon as i pressed accelerator it stalled again so i towed it up the hill with a fourtrak to see what happened and it started running again i then drove it 6 miles home with no problems untill i got to another steep hill by my house and it stalled again. i have tried to turn it over as its a no go i just can not get the thing started i took the pipe off the filter to and turned ignition on diesel squirts out with out turning it over so i guess the pump works, but this is also another question 4 or 5 different people have said they have got a pump in tank because its a 6 cylinder engine others are saying no all works off injector pump all i no is i dont no were to start to get it going again please help. :)

mite be a silly question but is there plenty of fuel in it seems like the fuel is going to the back of the tank on a hill just a thought

..more reliable4 than the 2.5.The bmw 2.0 is far superior.

ive owned this rr 3 years with no sniffs of bother ive had 2 freelanders for the missus and there a no go for me windows not working abs su-roofs speedo head gaskets prop shafts dffo stick wi my rangie or might just go buy a hilux lol

does it work down hill?

i reckon the pickup pipe has split/come off

the rest of the diesel system shouldn't affected by inclines, unless you incline it upside down that is!

yeah fixed it after looking at the full fuel system and pipes went back to the beginning to check fuel cut off and the wire was touching every now and again that's why it was stalling put the wire to a live wallah vroom vroom lol not so bad after all yey
