Cheers mate, lucky find on ebay.....they are genuine Land Rover, they only did them for the facelift 3 door, but they fit all 3 door Freelanders. :)

Here's a place that sells them STC50441D FREELANDER ROOF CROSS BAR KIT | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series

I only paid £45 ish for mine New.

Sounds like you got a bargain! Tempted by them, had my standard ones on the other day, ridiculous amount of drag, before i even put the ladders on the roof!
Might be worth a shot, i fancy the genuine roof rack thats currently on ebay for £410, but wouldnt mount it on the box section roof rails i currently have

There really quiet......genuine roof racks, have feet that you buy separately to attach to the rails. :)

This rack comes with the fitting kit, so maybe that's how it worked...I thought it sat on top of the roof bars, its being sold by massey4x4 in yorkshire

Fitted a 12v trailer socket, so I can plug the trailer board in when I've got the bikes on the back. :)

Just need to clean up and underseal the fuel tank cradle now.

Fuel tank cradle before.

And after

And done the rear sub frame, could do loads under there....but not got time today. :)

hi mate-nice looking td4 you have there! i like the way it sits and was wondering if youre using wheel spacers and what size tyres youre running and do you reckon that they would fit under mine which is the same 3 door td4 but a year older without the 2 inch lift? im on 65 profile tyres at the moment and it resembles a roller skate. i have the sme wheels but the tyres just look disproportionate and they are going to be on the markers soon so was wanting to go up to a 75 if thats possible..cheers

Hi mate, thanks, I'm using 30mm bearmach wheel spacers and 205/80/16 AT tyres. I had the tyres fitted before 2" lift and wheel spacers, they only rubbed very slightly on full lock. :)

Got the long range spot lights fitted today, was easy enough.....just took a long time getting all the wiring in......well happy with them. :)

Will get some better pic's when I take it out in the dark. :)

Yeah think they are well up to the job!!! I just hope for the best sometimes was thinking of making a roof bar to mount some about 6 years ago!!
