HELP my 98 freelander shakes
the faster i go the more it ((((shakes ))))
i have checked the wheels/track rod ends and all seem fine
have found a lot of play in the prop shaft centre bearing do you think this could be the reason

Freelanders are prone to woble on the back of rescue trucks, the good thing is that this keeps the bugs of the front windscreen

don't think it is the tyres/balancing as it seems the hole car shakes
the steering wheel don't seem to shake that much.
found a lot of play in the prop shaft centre bearing i was thinking
the prop shaft is a big peice of metal and with the rubber round the bearing giving way this would shake the car

Have you checked that the U shaped washers are both there? If they fall out you have a very wobbly prop shaft. Check the bolts that join the shaft to the VCU - if they are lose you may have lost yer washers!
