just took delivery of my first l332 on a 52 plate 4.4. What a motor. Been looking for a while and found one that had a very privlaged life in Kensington and a country pad and only 78k on the clock. Massive bills for everything that the l332 fails on so only little jobs to do. Example £5000 gearbox in France ( on the way to the French pad). And £2500 a year ago for new head gaskets. ( loads more like this It even went for a pre holiday check up (probably because of the gearboxes))
When I open the door I can hear a motor clicking away in the dash. Probably a bleed motor stuck or no teeth left. Again can hear a fan when the ignition is turned off Then ii can here a click the fan noise dies a bit then goes back up
Any clues on this or a link to sort this
Also the folding mirror on the passenger side is sounding like the motor has lost its teeth. Is it possible to fix
Or is it a new unit
The cd changer behind the glove box won't eject. Any clues !
The old p38 has got vent me 12 years of service but now it's time to say goodbye. I love it but the new car is so classy the Mrs even loves it
Will be putting the p38 up for sale soon

seems rather apt that I reply first:D

L322 with big bills paid sounds like what I'm looking for......, you jammy bastard:D

Paid less than 6 more than 5. It was a local dealer who put a new alternator on it which turned out to be a bad battery connection and a new suspension pump. Very very lucky as the car had the same owner since 2004 and have all the bills from lookers. No boy racers or tight gits since new. Totally original as I wanted. Also looking at the right time after Christmas. Sorry but it was 10 miles up the road as well. Obviously garaged as it's like new underneath and the brake lines are still green. Bargain and it purrs like a kitten
